Product Demo – TTNM Development Team
The product development team at Taka Taka ni Mali launched the ECOLOOP platform in partnership with Xtranet. The evolution of TTNM has stemmed from community advocacy work with NGOs on effective waste management practices in Kenya. Over the years, it has transitioned towards a resource-based focus. ECOLOOP, an open-source API-centered platform, facilitates various players in the waste management ecosystem to plug in and derive value. The platform offers two main services: an ESG reporting tool and a waste collection service. The ESG reporting system empowers clients to unlock brand value, report on CSR activities, ensure environmental compliance and seamlessly integrate into the ESG reporting framework.
Moreover, the waste management service incorporates features such as scheduling for waste collection and payments, comprehensive reporting on waste disposal, and quick access to analytics concerning waste management practices. ECOLOOP has integrated a payment system – MPESA, and its mobile app boasts a user-friendly interface. The ESG system is slated to be ready by the end of March. Looking ahead, ECOLOOP aims to integrate IoT technology to generate smart reports tracking carbon emissions and enable features such as route optimization.
